Procedure to Operating a Tour in Bhutan :

Entry into Bhutan is by DrukAir, Royal Bhutan Airlines from Bangkok, Delhi, Calcutta, Kathmandu and Dhaka or you can also reach Bhutan from is southern gateway, the city of Phuntsholing. About 5-6hrs. drive from Thimphu, the capital city. The nearest airport is in the Indian City of Bagdogra in the state of West Bengal.

As far in advance as possible, book the tour with dates of entry and exit from Bhutan. This is mainly to ensure seats on Druk Air, which has a seating Capacity of 72 including 10-business class only. Druk Air has a summer and winter Schedule. The difference between summer and winter schedule is normally on timings while the days of operation remains the same except during the windy season from mid February to mid May.
