The tourist tariffs in the kingdom are uniformly applied and monitored in the kingdom by the Tourism Authority of Bhutan. So, tour operators in Bhutan should generally offer the same price.

Although there are one or two Big, Expensive Resorts like Aman in Bhutan, we accommodate our clients in a very nice, homey and very comfortable traditional Bhutanese hotels with attached bath and toilets with hot and cold water running 24-hours. The staff of the hotels we book for you will care for you in the best traditions of Himalayan hospitality, and the Bhutanese cuisine they will serve is varied, wholesome and stimulating (last is an understatement!). For the more conventional palate, general continental food is also available.
High mountain roads cutting switchback swathes across sheer cliffs constitute the main mode of travel within the country. For the comfort and safety of our guests, Shangri-La Bhutan maintains a very reliable and well-maintained fleet of Toyota Coaster Buses and Four-Wheel Drives.
